Hard Tech Construction builds commercial sidewalks, entrance walkways and ADA accessible routes for offices, retail plazas, medical buildings and multi-unit properties across southern Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast. The walkway is the first thing a customer or tenant touches on your property, and it is also the surface most likely to generate a complaint or a claim if it is built wrong.
Working around an open business
Most of this work happens on a property that cannot close. We phase the build so entrances stay usable, keep a signed accessible route open while we work on the primary one, and schedule pours and closures around your hours rather than ours. If your building has a delivery window or a shift change that cannot be blocked, tell us early and we will plan around it.
For municipal and public right-of-way work, the requirements and the inspection process are different, and that is covered on our public sidewalk installation page.
Entrances, steps and the rest of the approach
A walkway usually arrives somewhere. Entry steps, landings and the transition from parking to building are part of the same design, and building them together is how you avoid a mismatched patch where two contractors met. We build granite steps and stonework for commercial entrances, retaining walls where grade has to be held back along a route, and parking lot and entrance paving where the approach needs work too.
