Hard Tech Construction is based in Berwick, Maine, and we build hardscapes across southern Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast. We work for homeowners, businesses and municipalities in York County, ME and the neighboring towns of Strafford and Rockingham counties in NH.

Berwick sits right on the Maine and New Hampshire line, which puts us within easy reach of both sides of the Piscataqua and the Salmon Falls River. From here we travel south to Kittery, York and Portsmouth, north and east to Sanford, Wells, Kennebunk and Saco, and west into Dover, Rochester, Durham and Exeter. As a locally owned and operated company, we know the ground in this region: the ledge, the clay, the sandy coastal soils and the hard freeze and thaw cycles that test every patio, wall and walkway.

Across this area we build retaining walls, patios and fire pits, walkways and steps, granite stonework, pool decks and driveways for homeowners. For businesses, we build entrances, sidewalks, plazas, outdoor seating areas and commercial retaining walls. Coastal towns like York Harbor, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Rye and Hampton bring salt air, wind and wet soils. Inland towns like Lebanon, Waterboro, Barrington and Epping often mean slopes, rock and grading work before any hardscape goes in. We plan each project around the conditions on your site, with the base and drainage done right so the finished work holds up.
